Chelsea set to sell Michy Batshuayi: strike could replace him

CHELSEA are reportedly set to cut their losses on Michy Batshuayi at the end of the season.

Batshuayi has endured a difficult season at Chelsea since signing from Marseille for £33million in the summer.

The Belgium international is yet to start a single game in the Premier League.

And he has managed just five goals across all competitions.

Batshuayi has also struggled to emerge from Diego Costa’s shadow.

And the Mirror claim Antonio Conte is ready to cut his losses on him in the summer.

The Italian is disappointed with his summer signing and is already to sanction a summer departure.

While Costa’s own future is uncertain, Conte wants to sign a new striker regardless of what happens with the Spain international.

Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Torino forward Andrea Belotti in action this season.

And Conte also remains keen on Swansea’s Fernando Llorente, who he managed during his time at Juventus.
