Craig Burley: My thoughts on Mario Gotze's £20m move to Liverpool

CRAIG BURLEY has questioned Liverpool's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Mario Gotze.

were one of several clubs said to be interested in Gotze in the summer before he left Bayern Munich to return to Dortmund.
But , who worked with Gotze for four years at the Westfalenstadion, is reportedly keen to renew his interest when the transfer window reopens.
The Mirror reported over the weekend that the Reds have already opened talks with the German's representatives about a potential £20million move.
But pundit Burley believes Liverpool are already well stocked in attack, with the likes of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino already at Klopp's disposal.
On Liverpool's interest in Gotze, Burnley told ESPN: "This is a difficult one.

"I think with [Sadio] Mane, [Philippe] Coutinho, [Roberto] Firmino, are Liverpool going to squeeze him in or put [someone else] on the bench?
"This is not a priority for Liverpool. I’m going to say [it won’t happen] but not because I don’t like the player.
"If he’s a replacement then possibly, but not just to come in and dump one of their other players to the bench."
