Victor Moses says the team are simply focused on picking up as many points as possible between now and the end of the season as we attempt to secure the Premier League title.

After the weekend’s fixtures, the Blues hold a 10-point lead over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester City in third are a further point behind having played a game less.

Moses, who has started every Premier League game since 1 October, produced another impressive display during Saturday’s 3-1 win over Swansea City, and he was pleased with the spirit shown by the team after the visitors had drawn level against the run of play.

‘I thought we did well and showed great character,’ Moses said. ‘Swansea did well in the way they tried to sit back and frustrate us but we kept on playing and as soon as we got the second goal we started to enjoy it.

‘We’re not looking at the table at the moment, we still have 12 matches to play and we just need to take each game as it comes. We just want to stay grounded and win as many games as we can between now and the end of the season. We’re going to stay focused and keep working hard together as a team, as everyone can see we’re doing.’

Moses has been an integral part of Antonio Conte’s team since starting the away game at Hull in a then-unfamiliar right wing-back role, and he believes he is in the best form of his life right now.

‘I’ve always wanted to play for this big club, it’s one of the best clubs in the world at the moment and I’m enjoying every single minute. I just want to keep on working hard and helping my team-mates out.’

Next up for the Blues is a London derby away at West Ham United, the club where Moses spent last season on loan.

The teams have already met twice this season, with Diego Costa firing home a late winner on the opening day of the season and West Ham coming out on top in the EFL Cup on our first visit to their new home.

‘I had a great time there last season, it’s a nice memory but now I’m a Chelsea player and I’m enjoying my football,’ said Moses. ‘I can’t wait to go to the London Stadium and hopefully we’ll get three points.’
