Arsenal face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday (5.30pm).
It will be the Gunners first game in 10 days following the 2-0 FA Cup win over Sutton United.
And Arsene Wenger has insisted his side must start quickly against the Reds if they are to get anything form the game.
"It's always high intensity, very competitive," Wenger said.
"Anfield is a special place, always, where the fans are behind their team and the team plays at a good pace.
"For us, after a little break, it's important to switch on quickly.
We have seen that's not easy - Liverpool have shown that against Leicester.
"After a break, it's important you are ready from the start.
"For us, it's vital to start strongly at Liverpool."
