BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER has revealed he didn’t get to say goodbye to his Manchester United team-mates.

The midfielder’s deal was confirmed earlier today.
But Schweinsteiger has revealed the deal was so rushed he didn’t get a chance to say a proper goodbye to his team-mates at United.
“It was not easy because the decision was made quickly,” Schweinsteiger said.
“So I could not say goodbye to my team-mates properly.
“They had a match so I couldn’t really tell them about it because I didn’t want the focus on me.
“I had a good time there and I am happy that I could enjoy it there.”
