The Portuguese star was not best pleased when he was substituted in Real’s 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo was unhappy at Zinedine Zidane’s decision to take him off on 79 minutes and his reaction reportedly angered captain Ramos.

The defender had a heated exchange of words with Ronaldo at full-time, and Spanish publication Diario Gol claim tensions between the pair has reached boiling point.
With Ramos not a fan of Ronaldo’s attitude he confronted him over his behaviour - much to the frustraton of the attacker.

Ronaldo is said to have not taken his dressing down well and the duo have now not patched things up with the pair both on international duty with their respective countries.
Despite Ramos being captain of the dressing room, the report suggests Ronaldo maintains he is above any other player.

The 32-year-old will need to put his differences aside with Ramos when they return from international duties to play Alaves on April 2 as they look to extend their lead at the top of La Liga.
