The Blues hitman is currently away on international duty and preparing for a friendly against France on Tuesday (8pm).

The 28-year-old scored in Friday's triumph over Israel as Spain won their World Cup qualifier 4-1.

However, over the weekend, Diego Costa suffered a blow to his foot and ankle which resulted in X-rays scans to assess the damage.

At the Sanitas Clinic in La Moraleja though, the Chelsea star was given the ok.
It remains to be seen though if he will feature in the game with France.

And the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) state Costa is still under observation.

Chelsea's medical staff have been informed of their top goalscorer's situation, but his condition doesn't appear too worrying for the west London outfit.

Antonio Conte will hope Costa returns to Stamford Bridge injury-free and ready to play on Saturday (3pm).
The Blues host Crystal Palace where they will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Another Chelsea ace to suffer an injury while away on international duty is goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The Belgium international will reportedly not feature against Russia on Tuesday evening, having sustained a minor hip problem.

However, Courtois is expected to be fit to face Palace, with Asmir Begovic ready and waiting if Conte chooses not to risk the Real Madrid target.
