Jurgen Klopp facing important Liverpool decision ahead of Merseyside derby

LIVERPOOL are in danger of facing Everton without their star men - Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.

The pair, who were involved in Brazil’s 4-1 win over Uruguay last Thursday, have another big World Cup qualifier to get ready for.

On Wednesday (2am UK time), the Reds duo are expected to take to the pitch in Sao Paulo against Paraguay.

However, once that game is finished, they face a 6,000 mile trip back to Liverpool.

And with less than 72 hours before they face Everton on Saturday (12.30pm), Klopp will be hoping they aren’t feeling too jet-lagged.
While the pair will be accustomed to long-haul flights, there’s a lot riding on the Merseyside derby.

That will no doubt leave Klopp with a selection dilemma for the Anfield showdown as he will be looking to pick his strongest side.

A win will consolidate Liverpool’s place in the top four.

With just four points separating them and fifth-placed Manchester United, there’s little room for error.
