Leicester 2 - Sevilla 0 (3-2 agg): Foxes stun Spaniards to reach Champions League quarters

LEICESTER’s fairytale journey into Europe continued with a comeback victory against 10-man Sevilla to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Down 2-1 from the first leg in Spain, Leicester levelled the tie when Wes Morgen redirected a first-half free-kick into the net.

And Marc Albrighton fired home the second early after the break to put the Foxes clear on aggregate.

Sevilla had their chances - Sergio Escudero hit the crossbar with a delightful effort - and Kasper Schmeichel saved a late penalty from Steven N’Zonzi that would have forced extra time.

And Sevilla’s cause was hampered when Samir Nasri was sent off for a second yellow card after clashing with Jamie Vardy.

The win means Leicester will be in the pot for the quarter-final draw, with Juventus also going through at the expense of Porto tonight.
