Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season, but has been offered a new two-year deal by the club.

Wenger has yet to make an announcement on his future but is thought to be considering bringing the curtain down on his 21-year tenure at Arsenal.

Express Sport understands Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has verbally agreed a deal to replace Wenger should he quit the Emirates.

And according to Italian news outlet SNAI, Wenger has now told the Arsenal dressing room he is off.
Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri broke the news on Twitter, posting: “BOOM! ARSENE WENGER TOLD TO HIS PLAYERS THAT HE WILL LEAVE ARSENAL! Here details of when and how the talk happened.”

It is claimed Wenger has announced his decision to leave Arsenal to his players but not the club.

Arsenal host Bayern Munich tonight (7.45pm) as they look to reverse their 5-1 first-leg deficet in the Champions League.

Wenger appears to be losing support from Arsenal fans, with their title hopes all but over.

Reports suggested he had a bust-up with star man Alexis Sanchez last week, leading to the striker being dropped for their 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.

But the Frenchman denied he had fallen out with Sanchez, insisting: "I am not aware, nothing at all.

"I explained after the game I decided to go for a more direct option, that was the unique reason for my decision."
