Alexis Sanchez could leave Arsenal this summer when his contract at the Emirates enters its final 12 months.

Chelsea looked to be leading the race to sign Sanchez, although Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and clubs in China are also interested.

But Chilean outlet Cooperativa claim Sanchez will join up with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
It is said Manchester City are willing to pay £50million to sign the 28-year-old and will raise his wages to nearly £200,000 a week.

Guardiola signed Sanchez at Barcelona in 2011, but left for a sabbatical a year later - with the player joining Arsenal for £30m in 2014.

Sanchez had suggested he wanted to stay in London when outling his future plans recently.
"I am happy in London and hope to finish my contract there,” he said.

“I’d like to stay in the city but with a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality.

“I’m 28 years old, I still have a lot of years ahead of me. I am a player who looks after himself."

Cooperativa note Sanchez will play alongside compatriot Claudio Bravo at the Etihad, with the under-pressure goalkeeper going nowhere.
