CARLO ANCELOTTI has quashed talk of a reunion with Real Madrid star Gareth Bale at Bayern Munich.

Ancelotti’s Bayern will take on Real in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie a week tomorrow (7.45pm).
Recent reports have suggested Real president Florentino Perez is concerned with his form.
Other claims have suggested Manchester United are lining up a move for Bale, who supposedly wants to get out of Cristiano Ronaldo’s shadow.
Bale and Ancelotti lifted Europe’s top prize together in 2015 before the Italian manager took a sabbatical.
Despite their success together, Ancelotti has dispelled suggestions Bale could head to the Allianz Arena.
“Bale is a very good player, but these rumours are a myth,” Ancelotti said.
“Today we are focused on our game, we have no time to think about these myths.”
Bale has scored 67 goals in 146 appearances for Real since moving to the Bernabeu in 2013 from Tottenham.
