Ramos and Pique aftermath: What really happened in the dressing rooms after El Clasico

SERGIO RAMOS reportedly continued his spat with Gerard Pique behind closed doors after Barcelona’s late victory at Real Madrid.

The Catalan club edged out their bitter rivals at the Bernabeu last night in dramatic fashion.

Lionel Messi bagged his 500th Barca goal and netted a stoppage-time winner against 10-men Madrid.

Ramos was dismissed for a two-footed challenge on the Argentinian superstar in the 77th minute with the score 2-1 to Barca.

As the Madrid skipper left the pitch, he told Spain team-mate Pique to “talk now”, in reference to the Barca defender’s prior complaints about the officials.
The bond of Ramos and Pique is now more tense than ever.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol add Barca’s experienced centre-half opted to cool matters by not answering Ramos back as he left the pitch.

But avoiding the Madrid man afterwards appeared to prove more difficult.

Reflecting on the incident, Ramos said: "The red card was excessive. I was not going to harm anyone. In my opinion, that was a yellow card, not a red. I was too late, but there was no contact.
"They [Barcelona] have a different understanding of the game and always talk about referees. But we will not talk about referees, that is not our style.

“Pique always talks about referees. Maybe it is better to talk about the referee sometimes than to keep quiet, but I will not start any controversy.

"I have no problem with Pique, but he might not get a hug after a Clasico like this."
