The French boss had made the Chelsea attacker his No 1 summer target but the Blues are determined to keep hold of their star man.

Hazard recently quashed Real’s hopes of signing him in the transfer window by stating he and his family are happy in London.

Answering a question where he sees himself living after he retires, Hazard said: “Maybe I will live in Belgium, to be close to the family, or else I could go somewhere with nice weather.

“My kids are very settled in London so it could be here, that’s a long way off yet so we will see.”

But it seems Zidane is keen to address any concerns Hazard has about leaving England.

Spanish publication Diario Gol claim Zidane has told the Belgian about the school in the area that his children attend in a bid to reassure him.
He wants to make sure Hazard has no fears regarding his family about making a switch to the Spanish capital.

Hazard remains under contract with Chelsea until 2020 but the west London outfit are thought to be working on tying him down to a new deal.
