Real Madrid to sell this star to keep Cristiano Ronaldo happy

REAL MADRID will reportedly listen to offers for Karim Benzema this summer - and it could have an impact on Cristiano Ronaldo.

Benzema has endured a difficult campaign at Real Madrid.

The former Lyon star has managed just nine La Liga goals all season.

His inconsistent form has led to calls for him to be dropped, with fans desperate to see Alvaro Morata given more game time.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claims Benzema could be sold in order to keep Cristiano Ronaldo happy.

Ronaldo himself has been a far cry from his usual self with his goal tally of 28 his lowest for seven years.

As a result, Real are making plans to use him in the No 9 position next season.

His finishing remains intact but his impact on the flanks has diminished.

Should Benzema leave, Madrid are likely to shell out on a replacement.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Monaco's Kylian Mbappe and Juventus' Paulo Dybala have all been linked.
