This is what Barcelona star Lionel Messi thinks about Cristiano Ronaldo

BARCELONA star Lionel Messi thinks Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is past his best, reports claim.

Cristiano Ronaldo has endured a difficult season at Real Madrid.

Despite scoring 28 goals across all competitions, the former Manchester United star has shown signings of waning.

Though he became the first player to score a century of European goals on Wednesday, he looks set to finish with his lowest goal tally since 2010.
Ronaldo and Lionel Messi often vie for the individual awards on offer - but that could be set to change.

And Spanish outlet Don Balon claims Messi thinks the Portugal international is no longer the player he once was.

Though he thinks Ronaldo is one of the best finishers in the world, he reckons he is not as complete a player as himself, Neymar, Paulo Dybala and Eden Hazard.
Messi is confident he will finish the season with more goals, but fears Real Madrid's participation in the Champions League could harm his chances.

The Barcelona star is not the only player to think Ronaldo is past his best.

Reports in Spain yesterday suggested five Madrid players had expressed concerns about the 32-year-old.
